This morning I waked up, feeling extremely cold and reluctant to go out for a run. After ten minustes of warmup, I felt much better and the cold winds blowing on my face seemed to be less annoying. On my run, I took fright at a barking dog. He scared me in exactly the same spot last time. My legs were as heavy as lead right after this incident. I read some information about how to avoid dog attacks from a running guide book, but I’m not sure it was a good idea to stand still and slowly turn away and keep looking at the dog without direct eye contact.
